How It Works

From Bare Wall to Statement in Four Steps.

No hidden steps, no surprise charges. This is the whole process.

01 — INSPECT

We look first

Free ocular visit (or send photos). We check the surface, measure the walls, and tell you honestly if limewash suits your space.

02 — DESIGN

We match the look

Our designer builds your shade and texture — warm neutrals, earthy clays, deep moody tones — matched to your light and furniture.

03 — QUOTE

One fixed price

A clear per-sqm quote, locked before we start. What we quote is what you pay. Materials and labor included.

04 — DONE

We hand it over clean

A typical project runs about a week — limewash needs a full curing day between coats, and we don't rush it. We protect the space throughout, then hand it back spotless.

Final quote confirmed after your free inspection — and once quoted, it’s fixed. Your rate scales smoothly with measured area — no brackets, no cliffs; every added sqm lowers the rate. Optional add-ons (heavy furniture moving, major repairs) are priced upfront, separately. Minimum project is 10 sqm.

Questions

Everything People Ask Before Booking.

What exactly is limewash — and why not just repaint?
Limewash is a mineral finish made from slaked lime, applied by hand in layered strokes. Instead of one flat color, you get soft movement and depth — the wall changes with the light through the day. Regular paint covers a wall; limewash turns it into the room's main feature.
Can you apply it over my existing painted walls?
In most cases, yes. Over matte or semi-matte water-based paint, limewash usually goes on with light prep; glossy or semi-gloss finishes need a mineral primer first so it grips. The free inspection is exactly where we confirm which your walls need — before quoting, not after.
How long does a project take?
Plan for about a week. Day one is prep and protection (longer if there's a lot to clear or repair), then a mineral primer, then two hand-applied limewash coats, then the protective finish — with a full curing day between each. Those waiting days aren't padding; rushing the cure is how limewash jobs fail, so we never do.
Is limewash safe for kids, pets, and sensitive noses?
Yes. Limewash is a mineral paint — non-toxic and VOC-free, with none of the solvent smell of conventional paint. It’s breathable by nature, and as it cures it actually absorbs carbon dioxide from the room. Your space stays livable through the project.
Will it hold up in Manila’s humidity? What about bathrooms?
Better than regular paint, actually. Limewash is breathable — moisture passes through instead of getting trapped behind a plastic-like film, which is what makes it naturally resistant to mold and mildew. For direct-splash zones like shower walls, we’ll recommend the right treatment during your inspection.
How do I clean and care for it?
Gently — a soft brush or lightly damp sponge handles most marks, and small scuffs tend to blend back into the finish rather than stand out. Go easy on scrubbing for the first few weeks while the surface is still curing and hardening; after that it only gets tougher.
Does it last? What about touch-ups?
Properly applied limewash ages beautifully — it develops a soft patina rather than peeling like paint. Scuffs blend in far more forgivingly than flat paint, and small touch-ups are simple since we keep a record of your exact mix.
What colors can I get?
Almost anything — warm whites, sand and clay tones, sage, terracotta, deep charcoal. Our designer prepares sample swatches on your actual wall during the design step, so you approve the real thing, not a catalog photo. Worth knowing: limewash dries noticeably darker than it looks wet — one more reason we sample on the wall itself.
Is the per-sqm rate really the final price?
Yes — the quoted rate is fixed and already covers materials, labor, standard surface prep, and finishing. If your project needs more than the standard scope — clearing and moving a lot of furniture, hauling, or major wall repairs — those are optional add-on services, priced with your quote before we start. Nothing new appears after.
Do you serve areas outside Metro Manila?
Not yet — for now our designer personally handles every job, so we stay within Metro Manila to keep quality (and schedules) tight. Leave your details anyway and you'll be first to know when we expand.
